Bedfont nearly over the line…

Bedfont we’re back in action with nearly a month off with no games….

We had a full squad to choose from apart from Adam who will be back soon.
Guildford took an early lead from a corner which we found hard to defend …. You could see that we hadn’t played for ages as we were rusty in places, not being our normal commanding selves… it wasn’t long before we got back in level terms with a wonder strike from Callahan from outside the box which screamed into the top corner 1-1.
Bedfont were now on top hitting the cross bar twice from Alex, Andrew went close from another cross.
We we’re getting a lot of joy from shots outside the box so up stepped Callahan again to score another long range shot from outside the box… 2-1 Bedfont going into half time…
Me and Leah asked the boys to keep plugging away doing the things we’ve done all season and if we did we would win the game…. The boys did exactly what we asked…. Jordan was on fire down the right wing who throughout the second half was a menice to the Guildford defence , this got Jordan and his team 2 more goals putting his team 4-1 up. The midfield players of Robert, Charlie and joe really started to press with some nice play….. Callahan netted another 2 making the score 6-1 with the hard work of Nojus all game was resulted in him scoring the final goal…. 7-2 the game ended with Guildford scoring from another corner that we didn’t deal with….
The game was one with very player doing there bit…. The whole squad played a part in today’s game and you could see that the team spirit was second to none…. Well done everyone
