A sports start league campaign with a win

Sports started there league campaign with a tough game away to Woking Town U15’s Colts who last week won 6-3.

Sports had some last minute pull outs due to injuries and one off with COVID , having A big squad is looking like it’s paying off.

Woking started well and had sports on the back foot. Sports persisted with the game and broke the dead lock with a well taken goal from Callahan 1-0 sports.
The game started to turn and some more good play from Joe Cooper who passed to Callahan who slotted in Nojus who slotted the ball home 2-0 .

The second half started and Woking had the majority of the game but Sports defence and goalkeeper stood firm in dealing with all that was thrown at them.

It wasn’t until the last 10 mins that sports started to push the Woking defence for Jordan to slot the ball home after a well taken corner… 3-0 sports.

The game was all but over but sports had another attack in them which see Joe Cooper slide a delightful ball through to Anthony to run onto and place the ball through the goalkeepers legs and into the back of the net…. 4-0 Sports …..
