Eagles 1 v Crookham 4

Crookham arrived at Bedfont Sports Rec. as our first home fixture of the season. After last weeks disappointing away loss at Hampton, Eagles were looking for a response. Crookham arrived and from the kick-off looked a very good unit. As the half went on we got punished for individual mistakes and right on half time we conceeded a third goal. Half time team talk was all about self belief and were we could try and punish the oppo. Jay scored to bring us back into the game, a smart finish across the keeper, getting hurt in the process. but again a lapse in concentration, straight from kick off gave Crookham the 3 goal advantage. Try as we might, Crookham held firm and even managed to miss a penalty. Final score 1 - 4.
