Eagles get an away league win

Everything was going well, until we arrived at the ground & our 2 from North London were nowhere to be seen. Yasen was at the train station, but Samuel was on a different train and not contactable. So a slight reshuffle was required. Confidence is slowly coming back into the side and Ryan's early goal, lifted the boys even more. As the half went on, Eagles should of added to the scoreline, but try as we might, we couldn't add to this. Daniel was called into action on a couple of occasions, but dealt with these efforts, with the help of his back four.
The second half got underway and Teddington had ideas of their own, they were now showing signs of getting back into this game. Another good chance for the Eagles went a begging & this could of proved costly as somehow the referee gave Teddington a penalty. Daniel clearly won the ball, but the ref saw this as a foul & a penalty. The Teddington player coolly despatched this, so 1-1 with about 10 mins to go. A few weeks ago we may have caved in, but our cup run, has installed faith & belief in this team. Eagles were catching Teddington on the break & with 3 mins to go we got our deserved winner. Yujan bundling the ball over the line.
