Eagles brought back down to earth By Crookham

Eagles always knew that todays game was going to be very hard & this was reflected in the scoreline. Try as they might, Eagles couldn't manage to score, either good keeping or defending stop this. Crookham took full advantage of the wind & scored 3 goals in the opening half. Their movement and passing at times cut us apart, but it wasn't oneway traffic and on at least a couple of times , Kyle's pace got himself in with a shooting chance. Unfortunately for him & us, it didn't fall our way.

Half time 3-0

The second half performance was far better by the boys and we managed to keep them down to only scoring 1 goal. The team spirit is their to be seen and this will only help in the difficult task of staying in this league and hopefully continuing the cup runs.
