It’s raining men………hallelujah

Bedfont Eagles visited a wet and soggy Molesey Juniors and walked away with a well deserved win.

After a tough team talk at the start of the game the Bedfont players had a point to prove to the management team. We saw the Bedfont boys once again play some quality football and take control of the game.

The first goal come from the free kick wonder boy Jake Brewer who from within 35 yards of the Molesey goal slotted home a beauty. Molesey however returned the favour and found the back of the Bedfont goal.

Let the battle commence……with some missed chances from several players it wasn’t long before Bedfont saw new comer Oliver Wright dance the ball into the Molesey net. Taking the half time score 2 -1 to Bedfont.

The second half started and we were all like drowned rat’s. The weather didn’t get the better of the boys and saw Jake Brewer score his second goal. Shortly followed by another goal this time by Jae-Ru Kelly. Then Bedfont were awarded a penalty and up stood Jake Brewer........oh no how did the keeper save that goal. Never mind Jake.
Bedfont now had Molesey on the run and showed what courage they have to solider on after some recent poor results.

With the end in sight Oliver Wright showed what scoring was all about and scored the fifth goal of the game.

The final whistle blow and the score was 5-1 to Bedfont.

Man of the match went to new comer Sean O’Sullivan for an outstanding performance.
