Bedfont Eagles win again

Bedfont Eagles win again, 8-1 against Hanworth Sports.

So we are playing Hanworth Sports today who are top of our division who play tough football, and we learned our lesson when we played them last year and got beat 6-2 and it could have been worse. So today I knew we had to be on our game to beat them and today we did that playing football and playing tough. Bedfont started the game on the front foot. We made Hanworth make mistakes, and that let us in for our first goal. Ryen Lounici won the ball back and played a one-two with Josh Homans then for Ryen to put Josh through for our first goal to make 1-0. For the second goal, we did pretty much the same and won the ball back in the midfield with Dylan winning the ball back and playing a lovely through ball to Reiss Spencer for him to slot it home to make it 2-0. By then the game was opening up for us and could of add a couple more. So this would have been the best goal of the game add if it had counted but it got called offside. We had a corner, we played it short with Reiss playing it to Ryan Bishton who played it back to Reiss, who was offside, but Reiss didn't know that and crossed it over first time for Dylan to do an overhead kick to put it in the back of the net, very unlucky. So for the rest of the half, we created chances only for their keeper to make great saves for Hanworth. Hanworth did get into the game after we scored our second, by coming forward and scoring a goal. But it didn't stop us and the third came with Dylan playing the ball to Ryen Lounici for him then to flick the ball past the defender for Reiss to run onto and slot it home from an acute angle, to make it 3-1. Just at the end of the first half, Hanworth was awarded a penalty but luckily for us, they missed it and hit the crossbar. So at half time, it was 3-1 it could have been more for us.
As for the second half, it was pretty much the same, and we dominated the game and for the fourth goal, Reiss Spencer scored again, 4-1 to Bedfont. For the fifth goal, this lad Reissie can't stop scoring for us at the moment. But he latched onto a long ball from Ryan Bishton to make it 5-1. So to round it off Reiss scored two more great goals for us make to make it a double hat-trick and to make it 7-1 for us. The last goal came when our centre back Ryan Fisher went a great run down the wing to past it into Dylan, who then played a lovely through ball for Ryan to run onto and then cut it back and cross it over into the box for Cedric, who was there at the back post, to score and make it 8-1, to round things off.
So to round up the day, it was pretty much good stuff and all round performance from the boys of Bedfont Eagles. Also, I can't tell you all how happy I am at this moment with my boys. Boys keep up with the good work.
