Eagles return to winning ways!!

After a poor turn out for training, the boys out done themselves this morning. When a meet time is set, make sure you are there for that time. Well done those of you that managed to get there on time!!! Anyway back to the game.
I made changes to the side today, to see if this would get the sparkle back into the team, certain changes worked, but others definately didn't. So we huffed and puffed, but try as we might, Elm Grove had the better chances. Thankfully for us they either miss placed the pass or were saved by Daniel. Half-time 0-0.
Two more changes were made at half-time, Jordan and Onyeka coming on for Zach & Samurai, this seem to stop the flow of the Elm Grove attack and let us put more emphasis on the attacking area. Cain was now on and proving to be the threat, we know he can be. So with less than 5 minutes to go Onyeka crosses and Cain finishes. The boys managed to see the final minutes out & get back to winning ways. Hopefully this reignites the desire to work for the team and grind our results when all is not going your way. Next week we are away to Met. Police, another difficult game, so work like we did in second period today & get another victory.
