Eagles draw with Ewell

Eagles came into todays game hoping for better fortune than they got in December, but after 35 minutes they found themselves 3-0 down and looking like a team that had never played together. Changes were made at half-time and a stern message was given to the whole squad!!

The changes started to reap reward almost instantly whem Zola's shot found the back of the net. Play was still end to end, but the back four were now snubbing out their number10!!! A free kick was awarded 25 yards from goal and Billy stepped up and scored another now trademark kick. Chances were still popping up at either end but Cain managed to get an equaliser with still 5 minutes to go. The final chance came via a corner but unforetunately for Eagles the header went high and wide.

A great second half come back, but surely if we start brighter and listen to the advice being given out, we would not have to dig deep and rescue ourselves from these situations. Roll on Friday and lets regroup and learn quickly.
