Eagles 12 Acto Ealing Whistlers (B) 2

Eagles entertaina new oppo. today in Acton Ealing Whistlers (B) in the 3rd round of the County Cup. There were a couple of changes in the starting line up, but this didn't seem to affect the attacking elimant of the game. Eagles started brightly, but poor finishing meant the score remained goaless until Cain found his shooting boots. Goals then came thick and fast with Cain helping himself to 5 first half goals and 1 apiece for Cameron and Fabio, the only downer on the half was the lapse in concentration, that allowed Acton to notch a goal.
Three changes were made at the half time break and it took a couple of minutes for the side to find its shape again. But the shape they did find and 5 more goals were added, 2 more for Cain, 1 each for Billy, Yujan and Troy. Another lapse in concentration, meant that Acton scored another goal via the penalty spot.
All in all another good performance and we are in the hat for the next round.
