Eagles beat Worcester Park

Eagles had an early afternoon kick off, we met nice an early and everybody managed to turn up on time!!! The pitch was on a slope and Eagles went up the slope first. Worcester Park started the better and it wasn't until 8 minutes that we managed to get a foothold in the game. Zola doing well under pressure and putting Cain through, he finished with ease. 1-0 and Eagles continued to pressurise the oppo, which eventually led to a penalty, the less said about that the better. so 1-0 at half-time.
The second period continued in the same fashion and following the introduction of the 3 subs, Eagles got the all important second goal, Cain chasing a high ball and heading onto Fabio, who calmly finished. Not a pretty performance, butsometimes you need to win ugly to maintain the momentum. Next week we play our friends from Ashford. Bring it on!!!!!!
