Eagles soar up the league
Eagles 4 V 0 Barnes Eagles
Bedfont knew that only a victory would get their season on the right foot, so straight from the start the pressure was applied to Barnes. Cain had the first sight at goal, but it was the galloping left back Troy, who finished with style to put Bedfont 1 up. No sooner had we scored one then it turned to 2-0, Cain getting his account underway, not to be outdone Billy notched for the 3rd week, this time using his head and before the half was up Cain added a second to make it 4-0 at halftime.
Four changes were made at half time and this let Barnes back into the tie, although Bedfont still created chances, they could not add to their total, and Daniel had to be at full stretch to keep Barnes out.
The first win of the season and hopefully this kicks us on for the rest.
