Eagles earn 1st point of the new season

Having had more time to warm up this week, Bedfont should of been ready for what was to come!! But after 10mins, the scoreline showed that obviously we wasn't. 2-0 down and we looked half the team we were 7 days previously. As the game went on we started to play the ball more to feet and got back into it via another long ranger from Billy. 2-1 at half time and all we needed to do was be more clinical up front and more resolute and the back. A change was made, with Mitchell coming on for Jay and a reshuffle to the formation. Mitchell scored to bring us back to parity and it looked as though we would continue to apply the pressure and secure the victory. Zola and Samurai were introduced and they brought some fresh legs and provided some more chances that went begging. Then from nowhere( well about the halfway line, their centre midfielder hit a worldie). so from looking at winning the game, we were now scrapping to get a point, but scrap we did and Fabio managed to turn the ball in, from an initial save. 3-3 Final score.

Hopefully the boys learn, that every week if we do not concetrate for the full 70 minutes, we will be picked off and concede goals. The side we have is a taem and we win and lose together, lets stop the niggling with each other and start uniting as a team again!! remember dont be late for training and onwards and upwards.
