Camberley V Bedfont Sports

Two enforced changes to the team that beat Hayes seemed to make all the difference in this fixture.
Ash (wrist) and Jack ( thigh) were forced to sit this one out .
this match was not in the same league as last thursday and the inability of some of the boys to be consistent and prepared to work for the team meant that , in my opinion , we threw two points away.
Most teams would be happy with an away point at Camberley whose DNA has not changed for years. they are well organised and play long ball football which to be fair is the best format for the pitch that they play on.
But I do not want us to be like most teams. We didn't sit back, we still tried to play and looked the most likely to score. But a lot of play broke down because of poor decision making and the need to hold onto the ball instead of moving it on quickly.

We had the better chances and a claim for a ball crossing the line but not given. Their keeper the much busier than ours was probably man of the match with outstanding saves from Harrison .
Any half chances that Camberley had were generally presented to them through a lack of concentration or more poor decision making by the man on the ball.
Harrisons deliveries from freekicks and corners was excellent but nobody managed to finish the job.

the positives were that Callum Rogers got a full and much needed 90 mins and Jake Hambleton, making his debut, done very well when
given his chance.
We have training on thursday and two games to look forward to next week.
