Bedfont Sports V Hayes and Yeading

So after a long long winter break we find that our first playable fixture is against the current champions of our division.
Hayes always have a strong side and are contenders every season.
Like us they have only managed to play 2 league fixtures before this meeting. amazing as we are back end of January.
still the match was played in a fantastic spirit and was good value for the spectators who came down to watch.
after an even and open half hour it was Bedfont who took the lead from an excellent chipped effort from H.
it stayed that way till half time . the second half produced 4 more goals.
H again involved with a another a sweet free kick that Con headed home. Hayes are not champions for no reason and soon replied with a follow up tap in that Lewis had done well to parry the initial shot 2-1.
That man H restored the lead to 3-1 before coming off. Harry had run his socks off and we had a great team effort playing into strong winds in the second half.
Hayes managed to get a second in the last minute to make the final score line 3-2.
A great team effort and top performances from everyone involved.
Plenty of players up for man of the match but I am going with H. 2 great goals and an excellent assist.
next up is a hard fixture away to Camberley .
