Bedfont V Molesey

The boys came through in the end thanks to two strikes from one of our forwards.
this was a tough fixture for us and Molesey were more than a match for us.
they went 0-1 up just before half time . A wicked deflection caught our keeper out and gave him little chance to recover it.
We rallied and were better in the second half but without setting the world on fire.
Good chances were made and missed before we finally struck.we couldn't quite manage a second so it went to extra time.
The standard of the officials made for a controversial extra time period which saw two boys from Molesey sent off. A tad harsh if you compare what had been going on prior to both incidents.
Sports took full advantage with another stunning strike 2-1 and through to the next round.
Well Played To Mark Coleman and his boys. We were run very close.

Time now for the management to regroup and tweak the line up. We always try to Learn in defeat but this match I found out
a lot about My team and the character of some players in victory.
We are training monday and we have lots of work to do.
