Eagles win local derby against Hampton Youth

The 1st of 4 ten minute periods started with us on the front foot. Having loads of shots but no goals until Bradley Slade travelled down the pitch and smashed a shot into the Hampton net. 1-0 Bedfont soon become 2-0 as again Bradley Slade made a run and then finished well. 2-0 Bedfont at the end of this period with some good quick passing from Joe, Charlie and Billy.

The 2nd period was a more quiet affair with Bedfont still on top with Richard Reed and Natan working hard to stop Hampton playing. The only goal was scored by Bradley Slade after a one two with Natan and then he calmly slotted in. 3-0 Bedfont.

The 3rd period started with Bradley Slade smashing a shot from centre above the goalies head to make it 4-0. Bradley then makes a run down the line and crosses but it cannons off a defender and into the net. 5-0 Bedfont becomes 5-1 as Archie is lobbed from close in. Archie then turns goal scorer as he kicks from his hands and one bounce later finds the ball nestling in the Hampton net. 6-1 and Bedfont hungry for more goals as Bradley again beats his man and fires into the net. 7-1 Bedfont and then Joe Cooper scores the goal of the game as he picks it up beats 2 players with some great skill and then places it into the bottom corner. Great goal Joe.. 8-1 to Bedfont becomes 9-1 as we get a debatable free kick lol that Bradley taps into the net. Double hatrick .. Hampton then score making it 9-2 .

The 4th and last period was really scrappy from us with us conceding twice making the final score 9-4 but a good performance from all the boys. Well done.
