A hard fought game by Eagles

The 1st of four 10 minute periods with little to choose between both teams. We try playing from the back but find it difficult to break old isleworth down. A slack bit of defending and old isleworth go in 1-0 up.

The 2nd period is another hard fought period with very few chances but Richard Reed is clean through but doesn't get any power on his shot and drags it wide. A great own goal by 1 of the old isleworth players means it's 1-1. Old isleworth score to make it 2-1 but a great kick from his hands from Archie Homans makes it 2-2

The 3rd period begins with an old isleworth player beating 3 of our boys and setting up a good goal. 3-2 to old isleworth but from the resulting centre Bradley Slade shoots and hits the post. Archie then rolls the ball out to a moving Bradley who plays it line to Billy Nixon who's shot is blocked by the last man. A couple of chances for old isleworth are well saved by Archie Homans. A throw in down the line and Joe Cooper fires over the cross bar. A good run and strike from an old isleworth player makes it 4-2 leaving Archie with no chance. A good run and shot from Billy Nixon but yips saved by the goalie. A free kick from Bradley Slade is then saved by the old isleworth goalie.

The 4th and final period starts well as Bradley Slade strikes the ball really well but somehow the goalie manages to tip it onto the crossbar. A run and great strike from Bradley flies into the net 4-3 to Old isleworth. Good work from Bradley and Billy sets up Natam but his shot is blocked. A corner from Natam to Bradley is struck well but the goalie saves with his feet. A long kick from Archie is then headed over the bar from Natam. A great run from Bradley as he skips past 3 players but can only find the goalie with his shot. A really hard fought game ends in defeat but the boys can all be proud of themselves as they tried there hearts out.
