An all round great performance from the boys! With Billy Nixon getting a Hatrick

We started on fire today, going for the throat and not letting go. I asked the boys to start fast and press every ball not giving our opponents an inch. Bradley Slade running down the line and cutting the ball back to Joe Cooper who is thwarted by the Fulham goalie. Next a shot from Bradley is hand balled giving us a free kick just outside the area. Bradley takes the free kick and smashes it into the corner. 1-0 Bedfont. Some neat passing from Bedfont ends at Joe Coopers feet who does a step over, beats his man and hits his shot against the post. More Bedfont pressure but Fulham can only clear as far as Billy Nixon who takes a couple of touches and fires it into the Fulham net. 2-0 Bedfont soon becomes 3 as Joe Cooper drags the ball back, touches out of feet and places it into the bottom corner. Some more good passing from the boys and a great cross from Joe ends with Charlie Borg running in and passing it into the net. 4-0 Bedfont at the end of the 1st period and the damage is done.

The 2nd period starts and Archie Homans is finally called into action making 2 great stops and at the other end Bradley Slade see's his shot hit the cross bar. A much more even 10 mins with Richard Reed and Natan working hard for the team .

The 3rd period and Billy Nixon manages to just stop the ball going out of play before hitting another long range shot into the corner of the net. 5-0 and then Fulham reply with a well taken goal. 5-1 and then Billy Nixon clears from his own goal line, runs the length of the pitch but shoots wide.

The 4th period and we start a little sloppy and concede again 5-2. We then have good chances go begging with Natan having his shot blocked, Billy missing the target and Bradley hitting his free kick to high. Fulham then score on the break making it 5-3 and I start to think let's not throw our hard work away. I needn't of worried as man of the match Billy Nixon stole the ball in the middle of the park, run with it and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the Fulham goal. Hatrick for BIlly! The game finishing 6-3 and a well deserved win.

Billy Nixon 3 goals Bradley Slade 1 Joe Cooper 1 and Charlie Borg 1
Little mention for Richard Reid as the notes don't give him credit for how well he played. Animal in the making :)

C'mon the Eagles
