Double Hatrick for Slade

1st game of season and everybody glad to be back. Bedfont kick off and Joe Cooper rolls the ball to Bradley Slade who takes a couple of steps and fires the ball past the Rocks Lane goalie. 1-0 to Bedfont and straight back on the attack. Richard Reed and Bradley Slade controlling the game feed Joe Cooper who slots in from close range. 2-0 to Bedfont and further chances go begging. Charlie Borg plays the ball into Bradley Slade's feet out on the right hand side.. He takes 2 touches inside his man and fires the ball into the top corner. Great goal. More chances for Richard, Bradley and Joe but we finish the 1st period 3-0.

The 2nd period and we're straight back on the attack. Charlie Borg having several attempts saved before Richard Reed bundles it home. 4-0 soon becomes 5-0 as Bradley runs down the line beating 2 boys before shooting across the keeper and into the net. Hatrick for Bradley.

The 3rd period and more Bedfont pressure. The ball breaks to Bradley who fires it into the back of the net. 6-0 and more chances as Richard shoots high and Bradley hits the cross bar. Rocks Lane get a rare break away but Archie Homans rushes from his line and makes a good save. Back on the attack with a ball that rebounds off there keeper and Charlie Borg is on hand to slot home. 7-0 becomes 7-1 as Archie and Bradley try to stop Rocks Lane scoring. the ball falls kindly to there boy who puts it in.

The 4th period and Bradley goes past his man and shoots high into the net. 8-1 becomes 9-1 as Joe Cooper takes a couple of good touches and fires past their goalie. Again the ball comes to Bradley who gets it out of his feet and smashes into the opposing net. Double Hatrick. 10-1 and more chances. The ball comes to Charlie Borg who manages to poke it past the keeper. 11-1 and with time running out Archie Homans has come out of goal and manages to get on the scoresheet with a tidy finish. 12-1 a great start to the season.
