The Best Team Lost!

today it felt like victory for me to see the boys play so well on and off the ball. And dispite the fact the other team played like they were more suited to rugby then football the boys didnt let it stop them playing a perfect game of football. What can i say i normaly like to list the negatives as much as the posotives but today there just wasnt any for me to list. I will start with Archie who for me had the best game i have ever witnesed. He chased the ball down everytime and won it everytime and when he did he ran the ball out and picked a perfect pass everytime. it came as no supprise to me that he won MOTM today because for me he deserved it. Great to see Alfie with more confidence today the best performance since his knee injury and he showed signs the old Alfie is on his way back he never pulled out of any challenges and closed the ball down everytime realy great game and great to see Him and Arch link up so well. We conceeded early on but equalised with a wonderfull cross from Mungai and who was in the box to make sure the ball found the back of the net?? Kai of Course who could of had 2 more today. his postioning was perfect as always and off the ball he made great runs. All the boys that played accross the middle today showed they had soaked up Friday nights traing With Barry Chapman and they all recieved the ball and passed it around perfectly. Great Running from George W today and Matt both strong in midfield but we expect no less from them. Billy had a good game and even no he got quite a nasty knock he didnt seam to let it bother him to much and he done what he does best and played football. Strong performance from Kieth Who im starting to think might be made of Steel. 1st half performance from Georg G was great and its good to see his 1st touch coming along now and his confidence on the ball growing and he was really good to do the 2nd half in goal with no complaints. 1st game for William Dixon and apart from a shot that even Peter Shilton would of struggled to save he had a perfect game great hands and what a kick really gives us the upper hand when his kicks land deep in there half of the pitch so well done mate and welcome aboard. big thanks to Ivan again for being ref today was a tough game to Ref and he done a great job.
