A Great Team Effort!

Danny Beck earnt himself Captain this week

Against Whitton Wanderers we lost, but didn't go down without a fight! We had shot after shot on target from every player, Ethan and Ollie kept us strong at the back first half, with Tyler and Ryan together at the front being passed the ball from Alfie in midfield. We had a strong start, but Whitton were just too strong for us, they had skills, and were passing well. 2-0 in the first quarter. We came back scoring one as a team, but the goals kept coming from Whittons super striker!

Second half, Ryan and Tyler took a rest as subs, while Alfie and Ethan took their turns between the sticks, well done Ethan for your clean sheet! Danny took charge on pitch keeping his team in it with amazing runs with the ball, Kian was just inches off a goal this week....its coming Kian! Ollie covered the ground being in the right place at the right time, saving us from plenty of runs from Whittons attackers.
In the last 10 minutes Ryan and Tyler kept the ball near the oppositions goal for the Eagles, but just couldn't find the back of the net to catch up with Whittons 6. Alfie you kept your positioning at the back, and helped Ethan to keep a clean sheet, fantastic team work boys!

A loss this week but great to have a challenging fair game against Whitton. We look forward to playing you again soon!
