Roaring Reuby!!!

A fast paced game, brought lots of goals today! Kian walked us onto the pitch as Captain.

Alfie started us off in goal making saves from the start, 3 excellent saves in the first quarter. We were given an early throw on taken by captain Kian, his throw was solid and went over the heads of Kew, straight to the feet of Tyler, who turned and powered it to the back of the net. Great team work Tyler and Kian!! Kew were on fire and put a few goals in our net early on. Ryan had long run down the wing, and sent the ball just the wrong side of the post, good try Ryan.

Our second quarter had Ethan in goal for us, He was like a human pin ball machine! Saving shots, then the rebounds with the help of his defenders Danny and Ollie, while Ethan was out of the goal, Ollie placed himself between the sticks and saved us from a final rebound shot. Amazing! and great to watch. Later in the quarter Ollie gave his all defending with everything that he had, his perseverance paid off, when forced to pass, the kew attacker passed the ball to our Kian who was given a free kick just outside of the box after he was tackled badly by the tigers. Tyler had another shot on goal as did Ryan, but Danny made a supurb shot, scoring our 2nd goal. While tigers continued to score, the boys held their heads up high and never gave up.

After a team talk by Rowan and Craig, 3rd and 4th quaters and a change of ends, brought plenty more action. Danny made a save while Ethan was out of his box and travelled the ball to the tigers goal and sent the ball into the net for our 3rd goal of the day. After a misjudged tackle Tyler came off injured, we had two more goals from Ethan and Alfie. Great work boys, is amaxing to watch while you are all having so much fun.
