JC7 gets his first goal Vs G4G FC

Eagles U7s travelled to New Malden for a nice early 915am KO on a chilly but dry late November morning.

Right from the off the boys seemed to be up for the fight and even with 2 of the G4G players looking slightly over the age limit, they set about playing some flowing football with Mackyi McGirr-Gray leading the line up front.

A goal from Aaron Bull after some great skills from Billy Simpson, settled the players down and this confidence followed into the 2nd period. With Charley Bayne adding 2 goals to his impressive season tally just before a G4G goal on the stroke of half time.

The boys came out for the 3rd period with the impressive Nicolas Piotrowicz in goal having to do some fine work to keep the boys ahead. Then with a few minutes to go in the period, great work from Jan Koltan created an opening for Jack "JC7" Clarke (As he likes to be known). Jack turned and hit a good strike from the edge of the box through a packed defence, into the bottom corner.

This sparked wild celebrations as Jack ran to celebrate with Coach Clarke (who had to fight back the tears of joy). They embraced with Jack jumping into his dads arms and they both felt pretty awesome!

G4G struck early in the 4th period to make it 4 - 2 but with a few minutes to go in the game, Charley Bayne after some Tiger'ish play from Nicolas (who was now on pitch), grabbed a well deserved hattrick and the Eagles win 5-2
