Eagles go down fighting & freezing

Well done to the 7 brave Under 7s that braved the cold & very wet conditions against Kew Lions

The eagles went down 6-4 but fought hard and played some really good football.

After going 3 nil down Oskar Zolnierek grabbed a well worked goal after being set up by Jack Clarke

The eagles then fought back to 3-3 with goals from Billy Simpson & Charley Bayne

The game remained tight but a run of 3 Lions goals to put them 6-3 seemed to kill off any chance of an Eagles fightback.

A consolation goal from Charley Bayne was the least the eagles deserved after a very entertaining game.

Superb defensive work from Jan Koltan and Nicolas Piotrowicz made sure the game was always close

And with Aaron Bull doing his turn in goal. The boys seemed to really enjoy the day despite being FREEEEEZING
