Narrow first Defeat

A tough hard fought game ended in heartbreak for the under 7 eagles.

After a Billy Simpson goal put the eagles 1-0 to the good in the first half, Lions drew level early in the 2nd half. Charley Bayne netted soon after to put the eagles back in front. However 2 goals from the Lions towards the end of the match, meant they deservedly took the spoils and inflicted a character building 3-2 defeat onto the eagles.

Some excellent goal keeping from Oskar and confidence building involvement from Mackyi McGirr-Gray, Jan Koltan, Nicolas Piotrowicz and Jack Clarke made this a good run out for the boys.
