Bedfont Eagles were desperately unlucky to be knocked out of the cup against Shelton Athletic Colts. 10 man Bedfont were fantastic as they took the lead over the team from the higher division. JAYDEN CLEMENTS scored the opening goal. Shelton got a goal back just before half time to make it 1v1 at the break. The away team scored 2 early goals in the 2nd half but the Eagles weren't going to roll over and dug deep, dominating the last 15 minutes. JACK CUMMINGS pulled 1 back with just under 10 minutes left as every Bedfont player run their socks off and never gave up but they couldn't find an equalizer. The boys gave everything they had and Manager Luke Walker was very proud of his team. Some spectators who turned up late didn't realize Bedfont only had 10 men which shows what a great performance it was! MITCHELL WHELAN was man of the match.
