A Proud day for the Eagles U10's

This match was the best match I have seen in a long time form the boys. As the season has progressed they seem to have got better and better, and are learning to play as a team and not as individual players.

The first 25 mins produced some great defending from the boys and George G made some brilliant saves. Making it 0-0 as they went in.

But the best was yet to come with a massive 7 goals from both teams, and a total of 31 shots on goal for Bedfont.

We went 2-0 up and then Sheen Lions produced some good football and pulled back 3 in quick succession.

BUT the boys heads did not go down and they battled and battled and then another goal came. Making it 3-3 with about 5 mins to play. They really wanted to win this match and it came in the last couple of minutes of the match.

Well done boys, battle hard you did and it got the win.

The real icing on the cake is that last season we played this team and lost 8-0. It just shows you how far the boys have come and how much they have learned to play together as a team. They should be very proud of themselves.
