What can I say about the match today????

After a lot of panicing and phone calls we finally got to play this match at home as the opposition's pitch was waterlogged.

We started well and for the first 10 mins of the game were were holding our own. But you could tell that Old Isleworthians were a great team. Billy and linked up with Matthew for our first shot on goal but it went wide.

Daniel and Billy made some great defensive stops in front of our goal but Old Isleworthians were relentless in their passing and movement, which got them their first goal. George W also managed to get 6 shots on goal but either went wide or were saved by the keeper.

George G as usual made some great save all through the match but we went in at half time 4-0 down. The boys carried on in the second half and tried to break down the opposition but the were not going to let us score. We did have out shots on goal but they just never managed to on in.

Kai also had a great shot that went just wide of the post. But it suddenly went drastically wrong and the opposition just scored one after the other. The boys heads went down and I think they just wanted the ref to blow the whistle and for the game to end. Frustration was setting in.

Archie ran his socks off as usual and Charlie tried to stay with his player but the opposition just linked together too well.

We did show some great passes and movement at times but were beaten by a very good team.

Shots on Goal - Charlie - 1, Daniel - 2, Billy - 4, Matthew - 1, George W - 6, Kai - 2

George G saves - 15

Man of the Match - Daniel Bamba
