Eagles, stuck in the mud

Eagles U9’s went away to Corinthian Casuals Youths, with Manager Glen Wise away on a scouting mission in Spain it was left to Tom Beck and myself to get the lads in order, sorry that the match report is short and late. We arrived at the wrong car park and a jobs worth told us “you can’t park there” you need to park over there, just where we came from t@*t.

Glen wanted the same effort from the lads as last week and luckily Tom and I left our hair dryers at home, to be honest the game should have not been played and the pitch was more suitable for hippos, Eagles started at a good pace and Rio was awarded a free kick with 6mins gone, Jake placed the ball and smashed it into CCY’s top corner 1-0

Then our dancing in mud stars switched off and CCY scored 2 goals in the 3rd and 4th quarters and it was 2-1, it look like the game was over but Eagles got a corner, Rio found Harrison who like Jake found the top corner (postage stamp) 2-2 full time.

Another battling performance by the team in a mud bath…Come on Eagles
