Eagles U9’s took on AFC Walcountians at home in the 4th game of the season, after losing our first 3 games we needed to start quickly and get a foot hold in the game, and how we started Harrison Wise found Joe Warren who scored on 3 mins and then flood gates opened. I have broken the scoring down as the Eagles where on top form and my fat finger syndrome may kick in with mistakes.
Goals as they happened:
Joe Warren 3 mins, Harrison Wise 9 mins, Jake Beck 14 mins, Rio Monks 18 mins, Rio Monks 19 mins, Joe Warren 21 mins, Harrison Wise 27 mins, Jay Taylor 32 mins, Harrison Wise 36 mins, Joe Warren 42 mins, Rio Monks 46 mins.
Also how we defended was top draw Cole Paul, Morgan Benn, Emon Masoudi, Jay Taylor and Frankie Macfarlane where excellent in defending our goal and deserve praise. So it seems we have got to grips with the bigger pitch now.
To watch them play as a Team was fantastic, from Joe’s finishing, Rio’s delivery’s, the Captain Jake's lung busting runs, Harrison's wing play and the Arsenal back five, it all fell into place.
Bring on Spelthorne next Sunday, the lads are back (a team again)
