Finally our day came when we won away from home.

After a long trip to Old Woking for this friendly fixture we were rewarded by a well deserved win.

We started off well with a shot from George W within the first minute of the game. We seemed to be a different team passing the ball and linking up well together.

We were strong and kept on pushing forward and getting the ball in there area. Our pressure paid off and we were rewarded with our first goal, by Billy and assisted by Archie.

Old Woking came back at us and gained a corner, which was headed away by George W (who was left rubbing his head for a few mins).

But again we pushed on and passed the ball and ended up getting another goal within a few minutes from Matt assisted by Billy.

The first half flew by and then just before half time, we got another goal from Matthew assisted by Billy.

We went in at half time 3 up. Martin decided to give goalkeeper George G a chance to stretch his legs and opted to put Billy in goal.

Again the boys played well but Woking put the pressure on and wanted a goal. Daniel was strong and battled hard at times with the opposition players.

Just a few minutes before the final whistle Woking were rewarded with their goal.

The boys played really well as a team today and it was a pleasure to see them play like it. I hope this had given them back some of their confidence after the losing the last few matches.

Man of the Match: George W
