Eagles fly past Molesey

The game started quite evenly this week with the ball being taken from one end to the other.

The first half brought several attempts on goal from the Eagles from Billy, Daniel and Matt.

Molesey also had their fair share of the action but were safely turned away or caught but George G who made his debut in goal for the whole match.

The break through came in the 13th minute when the boys strung together several passes, and manage to get a corner. Billy took the corner and found George W who put it in the back of the net.

Archie as usual was our big man at the back who would be there to clear the ball away on more than one occasion.

At half time we were 1-0 up and came back out to a Molesey team who wanted to win, but we fought hard with our passing paying off on several occasions.

Mongai fought hard on the wing and dispossessed his player more than once and Kai had several great runs with with ball, aslo some near misses on goal.

Again Molesey had there chances and George G's goalkeeping skills were put to the test but he stood strong.

Then a break through in the 45th minute came from a goal kick from George G which landed at Billy's feet, who's attempt on goal was just saved but Matthew was there to finish the job and scored.

Well done today boy's great passing and team work won through and you got a well deserved win
