Eagles under arrest by the Met

We started well today, and seemed to be evenly matched, as in the first few minutes George G made two great saves in goal. Followed by Billy making two shots on the Met police goal.

We were linking up well on several occasions Billy and Matthew and George W and Mungai breaking though by passing the ball.

As usual our defence seemed unbreakable with Archie and Daniel there at every chance to get the ball away.

But not long before half time Met police scored a goal. Then another one from them a few minutes later

The boys didn't give up and kept on fighting with Matt and Mungai both having shots on goal. Then a great ball from Archie back up the field found Kai who placed it in the back of the net.

We went in at half time 2-1 down.

We came back on and started confidently with Matthew making an early shot on goal and we piled on the pressure, but again the Met police came back at us and scored another goal. The boys lost concentration for a few minutes and the passes just didn't seem to flow and another goal came from the Met.

We didn't give up and still showed signs of scoring with a great shot from Billy but we just couldn't seem to score. Another goal then came from the Met.

A bad day at the office for the boys but all they can do is learn from it and move on to the next game, knowing that they tried their hardest and gave 100 per cent.
