Rocky road for the Eagles

We started off strong today and the game went from end to end. We had several shots on goal from Kai, Mungai and Billy and Matthew.

Also the first half saw us put some great passes together to produce the shots on goal. Also we showed some great defence work from Daniel and George G produced some confident saves.

We went in at half time 0-0.

We came back out and Rocks Lane produced some great football breaking through our defence to score in the 28th minute.

We kept on battling but Rocks Lane then came back with another goal in the 35th minute.

Billy also saved a least another 5 shots from Rocks Lane and stood strong in goal.

Our battling paided off and Matt produced a great goal assisted by George W from a corner.

After this George G and Mungai had shots saved by the opposition goal keeper but Rocks again scored in the 45th minute and again in the 48th min.

A valiant effort boys, but they were a hard opposition today.
