Eagles crush the Cougars

The game started with early pressure from the Cougars but we pulled it back and was rewarded by a shot on goal by Kai from a corner which was saved.

Still piling the pressure on Kai then had another chance. But then the cougars came back but could not get through Archie who was as usual amazing in defence with a super fast Daniel there to help him.

We then started to play really well, stringing passes together and making our way to the goal on more than one occasion with shots coming from Mungai and Matthew.

Then the moment came, our first goal came from a goal kick from George G which fell at a cougars feet, but Mungai was there to take the ball from them and score a great goal.

It then built our confidence, and another goal came in the 20th minute from Billy assisted by Matthew. We were then gifted another great goal from Matthew assisted by Matt. We went in at half time 3-0 up.

A few changes by Martin and we started the second half. The cougars came back meaning business and really piled the pressure on having several attempts on goal but we were solid in Goal with Matt making several great saves. Again we were solid and were making goods passes which insured we were able to score another great goal scored by George W assisted by Kai.

Today the boys came together as a team and got there passing and team play perfect.
