THE EAGLES SWOOP IN FOR A MIGHTY WIN

After a good solid start, the first real threat came from Claygate after 5 mins, which Billy had no problem in making a great save. But 2 mins later Claygate came back and broke down our defence and scored.

The boys then pushed on making several good passes and Matthew had a chance on Claygates goal, also bothering them was George W. Again Billy was strong in goal making several great saves and then in the 19th minute Matt scored a great goal from outside the area over the goalies head.

They went in at half time at 1-1. After a few changes we were back out piling on the pressure, passing the ball and playing well as a team, which payed off as Mungai scored a brilliant goal assisted by Archie.

Claygate managed to get one more past us by shooting a high ball which bounced over George G's head into our goal, which brought as all level again.

But after this things went our way, the next goal was from George W assisted by Billy, and then they just kept coming. Another goal from George W this time assisted by Kai, another one for Matt assisted by George W and then finally Mungai assisted by Billy.

Well done boys your tram work and pressure payed off today with great goals.
