A hard fought win for the Eagles

We started well today piling the pressure on with an early corner. Then in the 4th minute a goal came from Billy from outside the area that went screaming in to the goal and he was assisted by Mungai.

We showed great passing at points with Kai and Billy linking up to get the ball in the area. Also great shots from George W and came close again to scoring as George G got the ball to Kai from a goal kick, Kai then sent off a shot that was saved by the opposition keeper. Just before half time Kai scores a great goal assisted by George W.

The second half was a battle as the opposition came back strong trying to break down our defence but Archie at the back remained constantly strong making him Man of the match.

They managed to get one by us with a bit of a scramble on the goal line, but then both Matthew And Matt both made good shots on goal in the second half.

A hard match today but the team stayed strong against a tough opposition.
