Eagles Battle the Gladiators
A match that we should have won today, but it ended up all square.
It is the first time we have played Mayford Gladiators and it turned out that we were pretty evenly matched.
The boys actually went a goal down in the first half, but it wasn't long before they managed to get a goal back and we were all square. Just goes to show that they didn't give up.
The second half saw us go 2-1 up within the first few minutes but we just couldn't hold Mayford off for long and they equalised. We had several attempts on goal after this but the ball just wouldn't go in the back of the net.
