A Valiant Effort in the Second Half From the Eagles.

The game actually did start on a positive note with a shot on goal within the first 30 seconds of the match, but within the first five mins Byfleet scored from a goal kick which bounced over our defence and was chipped past our goalkeeper.

Then Byfleet did exactly them same on their further 2 goals in the first half. We went in 3-0 down. Martin worked his usual magic at half time and the boys came back out a different team.

The boys heads came up and they played well together and they managed to pull back 3 goals and it was all square. But with 5 mins to go Byfleet managed to get another past us.

Bad luck boys, it shows that you can fight and come back. We have a 3 week break now and I am sure we will come back stronger than ever.
