A Battle of a Match for the Eagles
On Remembrance Sunday the Eagles showed what it was like to battle hard in a game with opposition that wanted to barge and push their way to a win.
A hard game to that saw us go in 3-0 down at half time. The boys tried so hard and proved that they were the better team by actually trying to play football, rather than pushing and shoving there way to a win.
The second half saw a better performance and gave us more of an opportunity to score. Our goal came from a free kick just outside the area, which was taken by Billy Davis who scored.
Things just didn't go our way today but with our next 4 matches at home we will come back fighting.
Also very well done to our boys for their minutes silence this morning, all linked together and wearing their Poppies for kits poppies with pride.
