Eight Man Eagles - Comeback Kings
Due to illness we were reduced to a 8 man squad today, the boys played on anyway.
What a game we had today. The boys played on even though we only had an 8 man squad. The opposition decided to play with their 9.
So the boys battled well and as well as defending they had several shots on goal in the first half. But Chessington managed to get 1 past us before half time.
They came back out in the second half and you could just tell they wanted to win the game, but again Chessingtom managed to get another one past us. But battle they did and the two goals finally came from two brilliant free kicks.
It was great too see the boys battling today and digging in to try and get the win. They should all be very proud of themselves.
