A Strong Comeback from Bedfont Eagles Sports.

The boys were still on a high from their win last week and wanted to keep their winning streak going, but todays match turned out to be a real test for them.

The first half looked like the teams were very evenly matched, and we could have gone it at half time at lease 3 goals up but the ball just wouldn't go in the back of the net. The opposition goalkeeper either got in the way or the posts!

The boys came back out for the second half and found themselves quickly 1-0 down. But instead of heads going down they pulled it back not long afterwards to 1-1.

Halfway through the second half though concentration dropped and Oxshott managed to get 2 goals past us within a few minutes making it 3-1. The boys played on and in the last 11 minutes of the match pulled the game back round and scored 2 goals to make it 3-3.

Well done boys on pulling this game back, the lesson learned was never to give up and keep on battling. Lets look forward to our first home game next week verses the same opposition. Hopefully we can take note of todays match and get the win.
