A good team performance

Away to Oxshott for early kick off. Both Jack B and Michael were missing from the team due to illness.

Bedfont pushed forward from the kick off and the ball hardly left the Oxshott half. A terrific ball from Tommy went straight to Josh who slammed the ball into the back of the net 0-1. Bedfont carried on attacking and shots from Tommy, Nathan and header from Kaine all went wide.

Oxshott started to push back and it was only a great save from Nathan which denied them the equaliser. With Oxshott trying to get back to their half a great run from Nathan through the players who then passed the ball to Sam who sent the ball to Josh in the goal area and he scored his second 0-2. With only minutes left in the first half Oxshott pushed forward and were awarded a free kick just outside the goal area, a great ball which looked like it was going in was stopped by a terrific one handed save by Nathan as he pushed the ball onto the crossbar and away. The half time score 0-2 to Bedfont.

The second half and straight away Bedfont pushed forward and Abbas powered the ball past the keeper to make it 0-3. That was closely followed by another chance when a mad scramble for the ball from the Bedfont forwards and the Oxshott defenders only ended when goalie managed to leap upon the ball.

Bedfont kept trying to increase the score with shots from Abbas, George and Josh but resulted in nothing. Oxshott without warning broke down the right and caught the Bedfont defence out and scored 1-3. The ball was now going end to end with Oxshott giving as good as they got. A shot from Josh which went wide was followed minutes later with a shot from oxshott which once again was only denied when Nathan made another one handed save.

Jack E got the ball and a great shot was saved by the Oxshott keeper to drop down to Josh who slotted ball inot the back of the next to get his hat trick 1-4. With only 5 minutes left Bedfont attacked and the Oxshott keeper leapt onto the ball but could not control it and as it started to drift away he tried to grab back with one hand but Jimmy ran in and slammed the ball into the net to make the final score 1-5

Man of the match was Josh for keeping the pressure on

Scorers:
