Sports see off Northwood

Sports went into our midweek visit of Northwood with a spring in our step after impressive wins against Uxbridge, Watham Abbey and South Park. Top goalscorer Scott Harris missed out through injury so Charlie Postance lead the line for sports with the returning Mustafa

Sports started brightly and on 36 Minutes took the lead after Charlie rose above everyone to head sports into a half time lead. The 2nd half could not have started any better when Charlie hammered his header home to put sports 2-0 and in control. Northwood didn't lie down and sports had to rely on Matte Peirson on goal to keep them at bay. In the 86 Minute Charlie was brought down and up stepped sub David Pitt to rip the net with his pen to secure the points for sports and give us a more comfortable last 5 minutes against an impressive Northwood team
