Sports travelled to Chipstead boosted by the fact that Gaffa Paul Johnson was able to include Scott Harris in the match day squad for the 1st time in the league this season. He also added young Joshua Strizovic who joined on dual registration from high flying Billericay Town FC. Sports started with a nervous look about them and the hosts were unlucky to not go ahead early on when the post came to sports aid. Sports then started to grow into the game and after excellent work from James Simmonds, beating 3 players on the edge of the box he found Simo 'Jeff' Mnbonki whos cross was met by Scott 'the Hitman' Harris to put sports 1-0 up. The hosts went straight on the attack and after some pressure and a corner they were level, inside 3 minutes of sports taking the lead. They then had the loins share of procession and chances and went ahead on the stroke of half time
Half Time 2-1 Chipstead
The 2nd Half saw sports come out with some real purpose, Joe Jackon was brought on to replace Hamilton Bunga and it was Jackson clearance that Jack Mills latched onto, He then found Charlie Postance who made no mistake in pulling sports level.
Sports then had to rely on Keeper Joshua Strizovic as he 1st made a big save low down to his right, and then had to be at his best to keep out chipsteads forward one on one. It was sports who took the lead again, Scott Harris found space in the box, held off 2 defenders before smashing sports into the lead. He then met Alex Roses Corner to hammer home his hat trick with a diving header. Sports were now 4-2 up but gave us a nervous couple of minutes when Chipstead pulled one back to make the final score 4-3
