Guildford City was always going to be a tough task, the visitors had beaten us 4-2 at home earlier in the season and have been impressive of late. Sports started brightly and Paul Johnson hit the Bar twice in the opening 20 mins, however Jeff made no mistake on 23 minutes to finish off a good move to smash sports in front. After our goal it was all Guildford City and the visitors pulled 1 back and then went in front on 40 mins. Sports then had to call apon Scott Harris on 44 mins to turn the ball home from a Kyle Lemon Cross (Pictured).

Sports came out brightly and the game was turned on its head on 48 Mins when the Guildford Centre back was given his marching orders to reduce them to 10 men. Sports took full advantage and Skipper Jamie Richards hit a top draw volley from outside the box on 54 mins to put sports in front. Then Jacob Lambe scored on 63 mins to make it 4-2 and secure the points for sports.
