After a bit of a dip for sports with 2 defeats and a draw in our last 3 league games it was important to get back on track. The gaffa had the returning Scott Harris available after missing 2 of our last 3 games which meant in form Jacob Lamb started on the bench.

Sports took an early lead when Darryl Sanders quick thinking saw him chip the keeper on 4 mins. There was then a bit of a strange Pen to make it 1-1 until Scott Harris marked his return with a strong header. Lamb then made it 3-1 before half time with an excellent volley after he had replaced Johnson on 10 mins.

The 2nd half saw sports make it 4-1 on 49 mins after Harris again smashed the ball home. We then had goal of the game as Jacob Lamb chipped the keeper from 25 yards out. Sports then rang the changes and to be fair to Colliers Wood they pulled 2 excellent goals back, but sports weathered the storm and made it a big 3 points, final score 5-3 Sports
