Riggs to the Rescue

The day didn't start great for sports, Camberley has never been a happy hunting ground for sports and after 25mins at 2-0 down it didn't look any better. However we started to show a little more towards the break nut still went in 2-0 down.

Johnson, Hibburt and Ross all worked there magic at half time and sports came out like lions. Top Scorer Scott Harris headed home to make it 2-1 on 51 mins and it was game on. now it was all sports as Camberley tried to hold on, which they did until 77 mins when our very own Wizard of sports waved his magic wand, leaving his marker in his wake to smash sports level at 2-2. Sports Stopper Rouke Pickford had to be at his best to keep Camberley at nay now as both sides went for the win. As we moved into extra time Darryl Sanders fed the hard working Jacob Lambe, who held the ball up and rolled in Matt Riggs, the winger made no mistake bending the ball home from 20 yards to send sports into wild celebrations and to secure all 3 points.
