3 Big away points

So sports travelled to westfield with the usual dramas, losing Terry Buss who was set to return at 11.30am and with no big pearcy around it was left to Josh Richardson to save the day and jump between the sticks at short notice.

Sports welcomed back Jeff, Harris, Baxter and had Moody playing despite a broken bone in his foot. Skipper Jefferys lead the way with a fine finish from Johnos corner. The westfield keeper was in amazing form keeping out Juls, Baxter and harris all in the 1st half. The second half was much the same after excellent saves fro Harris, Olu and Baxter. On 80 Mins Prince did well to get around the westfield back line and cut back to Baxter to make it 2-0. Sports never looked in trouble until late on Westfield pulled one back and could have snatched a point in the last minute but sports drew 1st blood against high flying westfield. Next up the small matter of a trip to league leaders !!
